Sizing: 1-3T measures approximately 10.5 inches long and the waist stretches from about 15 inches to 24 inches. It typically starts to fit when the child can sit independently, around 6 months. 3-5T measures approximately 12.5 inches long and the waist stretches from about 16 inches to 26 inches. 5-7Y measures approximately 14.5 inches long and the waist stretches from about 17 inches to 28 inches. If your child is at the overlap age, go for the bigger size unless you prefer a shorter tutu (which is really cute!).

A bit about Amanda & her team: Amanda runs a family owned business in a simple 3 storey building in Dongguan, Guangzhou. The bottom floor is for fabric cutting, the middle floor is for sewing, and the top floor is for resting. All of the cutting, sewing, and packaging is done by a small group of family members and local hires.

That day Summer came home extra excited. I was, per usual, preoccupied with work.

“Come mommy! I have something to show you.”

“Sorry babe, I need to finish this thing and then we need to go…”

“That’s why we need to hurry! Come see!”

Led by her tiny hand, I followed her into the kitchen. And then she shyly pointed at a bouquet of wild flowers. Grown ups call them something else. But through her twinkling eyes, it was her gift to me. One by one she picked with her tiny hands and assembled into a glass jar.

I knelt down and gave her a hug. So proud of her, my little girl was beaming with love, and wild and free.
