Celine Mini Me - Nutmeg

The Signature Celine for mom is made with classic tulle. This type of tulle is more structured and great at retaining shape, giving the Signature Celine tulle skirt a stylish and polished look. The Baby Celine for baby is made with wispy tulle. This type of tulle is airy and extra soft, giving the Baby Celine tutu a whimsical and poufy look. The difference in colour/shade will appear more pronounced under warm lighting. The lifestyle photos here are of the actual products taken under very bright conditions.

For mama - 2 sizes. Up to 12 elastic waist stretches approximately from 26 inches to 42 inches. Up to 20 elastic waist stretches approximately from 30 inches to 50 inches. Length is approximately 25.5 inches.

For mini - 3 sizes. 1-3T measures approximately 10.5 inches long and the waist stretches from about 15 inches to 24 inches - typically starts to fit when the child can sit independently, around 6 months. 3-5T measures approximately 12.5 inches long and the waist stretches from about 16 inches to 26 inches. 5-7Y measures approximately 14.5 inches long and the waist stretches from about 17 inches to 28 inches.

The tulle skirts were designed by Sarah in Canada using simple materials. Both tulle skirts were made by Amanda’s team in China. The Celine Mini Set was our very first product. It started with my firstborn, when I wanted to dress the both of us in tulle skirts. I wanted a soft and poufy tutu for her and a stylish looking one for myself. But anything cute and poufy for her was also harsh and stiff. The material was so unforgiving, the edges felt too sharp next to baby’s skin. And anything soft and delicate for her also looked floppy and unimpressive. The material just sat there without the whimsy of a tutu. As for myself, I could only find bespoke tulle skirts that were expensive and had a zipper closure. I was about 6 months postpartum at the time, my body was still fluctuating dramatically. The thought of squeezing into a zipper closure waist took all the fun out of a tulle skirt.

So I designed my own. A mommy and me set that would have everything that I was looking for - a super soft and poufy tutu for our little ones, combined with a bridal quality tulle skirt with clean lines and an elastic waist for us. This became our Celine Mini Met set.
