Lunar New Year is a special time of year, it’s something I’ve been told since I was little. But I’ve kept very few traditions. My heritage and how I will pass it on to my children is something I reflect on every year, and there is no easy answer.

Behind the red pockets though, the fortune phrases, and all of traditions, I’ve come to realize that Lunar New Year is about possibility and resilience. Now that’s something we can all pass on.
